The more you learn about psychology and social dynamics, the better off you are. I’m not just talking about getting laid here, I’m talking about the total and full picture of social relations. This applies to your ability at sales, friendships, meeting new people, family interactions, and much more.

Basically, people tend to go to a simple idea in order to decide how to either act or re-act to a situation. This is something that’s very deeply buried in all of us, and if you know how, you can easily trigger these very deep, comfortable reactions. Think of this example:

If I were to ask you to think of something in your own childhood, for example, I gave you a common first name and told you without thinking about it to just give me the first IMAGE that popped into your mind, I would have an easy ‘go to’ in terms of manipulating you. As a personal example, if you asked me to think of the name ‘George’ and what the first image that came into my mind was, I would tell you that it was George Washington, which I obviously learned at a very early age.

That might sound meaningless, however, if I were to, for example use the term ‘George’ as a covert phrase in normal conversation two hours later in the evening, while referencing it to myself. You would unconsciously and instinctively attribute those fundamental ideas of trust and honesty (‘I can’t tell a lie, I pissed on that cherry tree!’) to me. So, what just happened?

Your unconscious and subliminal mind attributed all of those ‘trustworthy’ qualities to me. Think it’s bullshit? Try this on yourself, If I ask you NOW what’s the first and most profound mental image of a childhood toy that you have, go on, think about it…

If it was a Teddy Bear or other stuffed animal of some kind, I’m guessing that he (or she) had a name. What was that name? Go On, really think about it…

If you can fully recall this simple, yet powerful deeply implanted trigger, you will NOW know that we all are capable of falling victim to this already pre-anchored trigger in our own minds. Now listen to me for a moment…

I would honestly guess that around 90% of people that were brought up in average to nice homes as children have a very fond, sincere and clear memory of a childhood friend, confidant or otherwise well trusted doll, toy or teddy. This is something that’s both culturally as well as instinctively engrained in us all at a very young age. It’s also something that’s both easily recalled (when we consciously try to remember it) and very powerful.

Early childhood memories call up those unconscious feeling of love, trust, respect, etc. that can be ‘passed on’ to anyone you like (for example, YOU), that is, If you know how to do it. This is quite brilliant, as it both bypasses the conscious mind’s judgment, and also has a very powerful effect of almost instantly creating feelings of trust, openness and suggestibility in b your target. b

Let me digress for a moment. Often times, one of the most difficult aspects of seducing a women whom you’ve just met is gaining trust. You might be in the perfect place, with the perfect atmosphere, having a great time, and you’ve almost perfectly ignited all of her feelings of ‘This guy is so awesome, it’s like it was just meant to be, I wanna take him home NOW‘, but a (very strong) part of her mind kicks in and says ‘Yeah, I know everything’s going great, and he’s like a dream, out of a chick flick, but… I JUST met this guy about an hour ago, he could be a complete psycho!’

This happens way more often in seduction then most guys (consciously) realize! So, what’s the problem then? Even though you’ve played every single other part of the scenario perfectly, her TRUST is not there. And while all of the other factors are important (some of them VERY important) and even though you’ve nailed them, without the trust, you’re screwed.

It’s actually kinda simple if you think about it. As guys, we don’t worry as much about those types of things as we could (or maybe should). Obviously, if you thought that a girl was a complete nut that was going to trash your place or whatever, you’d tell her to f*ck off. But, women have it much differently.

After thousands of years of evolution, our (Men and Women’s) brains have learned VERY different things…

Let’s say that you thought that a chick was ‘kinda nutty’, but f*ck it, she’s hot and ready to go back to my place NOW! At the same time, you are unconsciously aware of the logical facts that:

1 – I am a man and she’s (probably) smaller then me, so I could easily stop and / or restrain her if she were to flip out for some reason.

2 – I’m a man and she’s probably not trying to rape me, and I feel completely safe.

3 – If for some reason she did flip out, I would grab my phone and call the cops and all would be well.

And the most common:

4 – “Fuck yeah, Pussy!” (With no actual cognitive thought about any of the above factors)

If you were a woman however, you would probably see things quite differently. Here’s just a few of her thoughts after meeting that ‘amazing’ guy:

1 - I know I’m smart and have that 6 months of Judo classes under my belt, but this guy might be a total and complete nut!

2 – I’ve PERSONALLY heard of my own friends being assaulted (or nearly that) by some asshole that they had just met (or even had known for a while), how do I know that I can trust this guy?

Again, the most common:

3 – I don’t have a male, knee jerk reaction to sex and I really don’t know this dude. (So I’m not as overwhelmed to put myself in any potential danger to hook up with this guy).

A Side Note: Have you ever observed that when girls ‘randomly’ decide to hook up and have ‘no strings’ sex, it’s often with an ex or someone that they’ve been with sexually before and not a stranger? I.E. Someone that they ALREADY feel comfortable with? I will cover this in more detail later so subscribe to our feed!

Now you should have quite a clear idea of why TRUST is so much more important to women vs. men. You can argue this fact (to your own futility, and subsequent ‘blue balls’), or simply accept it, and learn how to counter act it. The choice is yours…

What I’m really giving you all here is an insight, and not only a factual, reality based one, but also a deep psychological motivation that we ALL have, male or female. Categories, you say? Yup, when a guy is in a strictly platonic friendship with a girl, and then later on wants to  start a sexual or romantic relationship with her, this normally comes out of only a few possible social scenarios. They will make YOU fall into categories, of guys who have a good chance at it, or those who’ve got almost no chance with her. See where you fit in below…

You’ve BOTH Always Been Strictly Platonic:

This is by far the most difficult of all of the situations in this post. My heart goes out to you guys (and all that other mushy shit) who are in this type of predicament. If this means you, take my warning seriously, you need to proceed with extreme caution. Any ‘moves’ that you make need to be very gradual, slow and subtle for a while.

And by ‘moves’ I don’t mean the moves that would apply to a normal dating or seduction situation (like kissing, slightly flirtatious touching, etc.) – In this type of situation you’re first moves will have to be very tame. Things like occasional light flirting and not to much of it.

You need to at first slip in one flirtatious comment with a sexy, confident smile and then: Pay Attention to her. Try to read her and gauge her response to it. Did she laugh or giggle? If so, was a ‘ha ha we’re just friends and he’s funny’ laugh, or a blushing, covering the mouth and looking down toward the ground (a psychological sign of submission) type of laugh?

Really try to step outside of yourself and judge this honestly, by what really happened and not what you hope happened.

If you’re not getting the desired response then by all means, back of and slow it way down. If you are, you need to carefully plan a lot more then you’re average seduction scenario. Remember, if you screw this up, you might not only ruin the friendship, but also cause a rift between other friends of yours and create a lot of unnecessary drama in your life.

Each time you hang out with her, if you’re not already alone (as in just the two of you for at least a few minutes), then try to create situations where this is the case. When you are alone with her, throw in one flirtatious comment or joke as mentioned above, then try to gauge her reaction. And as for that time of hanging out with her (as in that party, movie or night out with friends) – That’s It! No more flirting with her, unless of course she’s really into it, and continues the flirting in a suggestive manner.

Just continue the one flirt per hang out scenario for the first 2 or 3 times, then if the response is good (with no signs of her being weirded out by it) – Up it a bit so it’s more like what your normal game should be like. That means a bit more flirty and sexual, touching the neuro-triggered hot spots a little and continue. Basically, if it seems like it’s going well and progressing (after you get to the stage of it being normal, fun and even anticipated by her for you to flirt with her), start treating it like any other day 2 or 3 seduction scenario.

She’s Always Liked You, But You Weren’t Interested:

Now you might be saying to yourself, “Oh really, I could bang her? – That’s obvious!” Yes and no. While it’s quite obvious that in this particular situation you can ‘get it on’ with her, that’s just the beginning of the story. Girls that are ‘hangers  on’ – that is to say – still friends with a guy that they’ve been ‘hardcore crushing on’ for several years, even though you’ve  either never shown any interest – or occasionally used them as a rebound or on a night when you had a few drinks and nothing better to do. These girls aren’t wasting all of that time, effort and emotional energy of sticking around you for years just to be your occasional f*ck toy, they’re in it for the long haul, that means serious relationship time, buddy!

Now I completely understand that you may not want a relationship with them, and instead just some friends with benefits action, but, will she settle for that? In most cases no (but read on and you’ll see exactly what I mean). Girls like this have a tendency to get even more hurt then the average girl, and in many cases Much More Psycho! You’ve been warned.

This is because girls that will hang around a guy that they’re REALLY into (or even in love with) for years, while constantly being told by the guy that “we’re just friends” are either a bit psycho from the beginning, or will tend to go completely mental when you finally seemingly give them what they’ve been wanting for all of those years… and then Take It Away. Think about it, she’s been dreaming of dating you for years, something happens and now you’re messing around, she’s FINALLY got was she been dreaming about for so long, she’s the happiest girl on earth, then a week later you tell her you don’t want to date, but just mess around sometimes. Lock Up The Kitchen Knives!

Now I want to quickly warn you about a potential pitfall that could cramp your style if you’re not careful. Lots of times, girls in this type of situation will appear to be cool with the friends with benefits thing, at first. She might say “Sure!”. Just remember that often they’ll gladly accept your offer, because they’re secretly trying to lure you in and ‘tie you down’ into a real, full time relationship.

Trust me, I’ve had plenty of girls try to do this to me who weren’t friends that I fooled around with, it’s just some girls’ sneaky way of trying to get guys into a relationship. So, I just wanted to warn you about this, as it’s even more prevalent amongst girls who readily agree to a friends with benefits situation (When it sounds to good to be true…)

You’ve Always Liked HER, And Maybe Tried To Hit On Her Before (Or a few times):

Sorry to tell you guys who fall into this category, but when I said that there were some of you that were in a hopeless situation trying to date a friend, this means you. I’ve seen this SO much, and so many times that I couldn’t count them all. From hot girls I’ve ‘dated’ to some hot girls that are friends of mine, many hot girls use guys and tool them around for car rides, help when moving, free drinks and dinners, etc. – all without the slightest bit of attraction to them.

Why, because they’re pathetic and let these girls use them. Sorry if you fall into this category but someone has to wake you up. Otherwise you’ll simply waste the rest of your life being flat out duped by women, just for the privilege of being in their presence.

Let me give you the just of it, either:

1 – You met this girl and were interested in her (and she was into you, at first) but you didn’t make a move in time and she put you into the ‘friends zone’ (for failing to be a man and act, make a move)

OR

2 – You always have been her friend, she never had any interest in you, loves to use you (by occasionally flirting a little, but never kissing you or fooling around with you in any way), and you’re simply delusional, thinking “Well she’s making out with him but she’s really mine, someday…”

And there are lots of guys like the later that I’ve encountered over the years, and it’s always fun when I make out with ‘their girl’ in front of them, then grab her by the ass and take her home.

Going from being “just friends” to ‘friends with benefits’ can be tricky sometimes, but if you know the right moves to make, and proceed very carefully, it can be well worth it.
