This problem occurs when people read one book- The Game, and think they are now pick up artists. I don’t mind that they think that, but I mind that they spread around the wrong philosophy. if your weak and submissive, no routines will work. if your confident routines will work. if your confident, you don’t need routines. therefore, routines are pointless unless your using them as training wheels.

what you are talking about. The main idea here is don’t become defensive, and the best response to a shit test is a wittier response or no response at all. Deff don’t make excuses.

I even like to point out the really cool guys in the bar and say that they are creepy and give some reason as to why. For example, I’ll be like “You see that really muscular guy over there… What a creep, he works out way too much its becoming extremely tacky.” and if you are leading the interaction the girls will agree with you. and even if they found him attractive to start he will become creepy. If, however, they are leading the interaction, they will look at you like you have no idea

I’ll tell you the problem I have with the line, “I didn’t hit on you.” It’s a remark made in defense to the girls accusations. In other words it’s an extremely defensive line. And as you know becoming defensive is a great way to fail a shit test. The best response in to this shit test is no response at all. Show that you are completely unaffected. Girls are attracted to that. Just continue on by pointing out guys that you think are creepy.

While it is true that they will sometimes throw you a shit test and say you are the creepiest, they know you aren’t, so if you become defensive you fail the shit test. Now, I use the shit test as an opportunity to pass it and raise my value even higher.

The one problem with the “creepy guy” opener is that they could say that you are the creepiest guy. I prefer “hey, tell me something: so how many creeps have hit on you tonite?” If they point you out, all you gotta do is say: “I didn’t hit on you.”

yup, you’re absolutely right. Most people read The Game, steal the tools demonstrated in the book, then don’t use them properly. I see people doing it all the time. I don’t think it’s a bad thing because at least more people are stepping up to make an attempt to improve their life.. as long as people look back on their situations and try to learn from their mistakes.

haha so true. The Game does NOT make you anything close to PUA, it only…wets your appetite to begin the journey of PUAdom.
I actually read The Game well after learning MM. Everyone who got into the community through The Game but didnt dig deep enough (or quit at “Rules of the Game”) have such a surface understanding of how to be a PUA. I notice this mostly in frat houses lol.

If you have to tell someone you’re rich, you aren’t. PUA material is meant to be a transparent clothing, you have it, and it’s there, but it’s not you and not meant to cover who you really are. Good points.
