That is so mean. That must have really hurt her to make her cry. I agree with Silvercat34 about not needing to be a dick to come off as confident and not needy. Any woman with self respect would have left his house after being ‘frozen out’ for no apparent reason.

What does LMR mean? And how does he NOT come off like a dick? Lets review what happened here, he brought a girl over and was making out with her within 15 minutes of bringing her over and she was obviously into him already and then he stopped and started dancing around and acting like she was sexually unattractive and he was just toying with her. Why was there any need to give her the cold shoulder and make her cry again? She already liked him and he was being a dick for no reason.

The other two ways guys handle LMR is to whine or get angry, and a freeze out is a cold shoulder for sexual stuff, you still talk, you just stop and sexual emotions suddenly. it’s not gross. idk where that came from

I agree with you that things seem like it’s too much one way or the other. I’m not saying that a nice guy has to compromise his values. It depends on what A man wants. If a man wants a good woman for a wife then obviously the rules are different for that scenario. If you want to get laid a lot then this guys info works.
If it’s not too personal, how did you and your borfriend get together?

Why do so many men think you can only either be a nice wuss or an asshole? It is possible to exhibit signs of confidence and whatever ‘alpha’ traits you so desire without coming off like a dick. My boyfriend is a ‘nice guy’ and manly at the same time, and he didn’t need to play a lot of stupid power games and tricks to get me to love him.
Being an ass like this guy might get a few insecure women into bed but it’s gross and ultimately people end up getting hurt like the woman in this story.

Are you manipulating someone when you buy them a gift you KNOW they will like? I don’t think you are looking at this correctly. There are college courses on human behavior and psychology. This guy is just talking about things that WORK. It’s not necessarily good or bad it’s just the way things are. I’ve been a “nice guy” all my life and he’s right, women don’t respond well to nice guys. The DO respond to a guy who acts like he doesn’t need them, a guy who is harder to catch. It’s a fact.

Believe it or not, women resond to this stuff. Most women that I know will angrily deny that any of this stuff works… but guess what? These things really work. it’s not always logical, and we are not totally logical beings. We have logic, and emotion and other issues. Silvercat34 you can say what you want, but these things work.

‘Freeze out’ means exactly giving her the cold shoulder, he explains the whole thing.
And you can make the assumption that she does the same thing to guys, but you don’t know that for sure, and either way it’s a shitty thing for a person to do. Playing mind games is manipulative and dishonest.
