It seems that the purpose of PUA’s is to hook up with as many women possible and many times it includes making up stories and using other tactics to get their attention that do not represent who the PUA really is.
My question is, can women tell if a guy is using these tactics on her? What’s wrong with just being yourself and meeting women that way? I’ve never had problems meeting women through being honest and open about myself.

I don’t fall for them.If you really liked the girl, you wouldn’t need to use a line.I think they are just dumb and pointless.

if your referring to that show…then NO. the guy who teaches it is super weird anyways and i don’t understand how he can supposedly pick up sooo many women. im a 19 yr old woman and i am most attracted to a guy when there themselves so your doing the right thing. being hit on with all the corny lines gets old fast…

You’re never going to get anyone here to admit that they’d fall for a PUA, for one, they might have already and not even known.
As to tactics, everyone, both men and women use tactics when it comes to dating.
And just look at how many say they want nice guys yet always seem to end up with jerks.
I was doing good with women too, now I’m doing things beyond my wildest dreams. So why settle for just being “good”?
